Message From Aliens System Requirements: What Steam Actually Lists

Official minimum and recommended requirements

Do not fill the missing rows with estimates from a different game or an automatic database. The only responsible answer is that Steam does not currently specify them. The demo uses the same short requirement table, so it is the best available compatibility test.

A practical pre-install check

A demo launch is more informative than an invented specification. Test the opening, write and edit a note, change display options if available, exit normally, and relaunch to confirm the save slot remains visible.

• Confirm Windows reports a 64-bit operating system.
• Update the graphics driver through the hardware vendor or Windows Update.
• Keep free storage beyond the download size shown by your Steam client.
• Close overlays if the interface behaves unexpectedly.
• Install the free demo and test input, saving, and screen scaling.

Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, and mobile

The official product pages checked on 2 November 2026 list Windows requirements only. No trustworthy current evidence was found for a native macOS or Linux build, a Valve Steam Deck compatibility rating, or an official iOS release.

Absence from the official table does not prove that a compatibility layer can never run the game. It does mean this site will not label those platforms supported until an official listing or a dated, reproducible community test exists.
